Customer Reviews

Still the best! When my adult children were toddlers, they received a set of Bristle Blocks. Those blocks were wonderful because they stuck together so well. No matter how high a tower, or how steep a mountain, or how staggered a contraption, or whether the masterpiece was held upside down or sideways, the children's projects remained intact. Now that I have three grandchildren, I purchased Bristle Blocks for them to enjoy the same way their parents did. The blocks are easy for little fingers to handle. They attach with a bare minimum of pressure, and stay locked firmly in place. Bristle Blocks are colorful and inviting to children, and they encourage creativity. As when my children were toddlers, I still consider Bristle Blocks among the favorite playthings in our toy closet. 5Fun Blocks!Overall, I really like this! I love that it comes with a carrying container too. I work with kids and this is always a huge hit. There are a few small pieces that are potentially choking hazards, but you could easily remove them from the container if you are concerned with your child potentially putting the pieces in their mouth. They are fairly easy to use and assemble and requires less fine motor control than it does with Legos. Kids can really be creative with all the different shapes and sizes this comes with. The only minor compliant is that you do have to carefully put the pieces back in the bin, as it may not shut otherwise. Consequently, it can't be something you quickly dump the pieces in and are good to go. It requires minimal time to put them in the right way to fit, but it should be noted that some (but minimal) effort is required to position the blocks properly to fit in the container. As I said earlier, overall, I am very pleased and would recommend. 4Patience-free blocks! These blocks be awesome, especially for those little ones who might get frustrated by legos that must fit EXACTLY! These don't take a lot of patience to build something like Frank Loyd Wright's house. But there are not that many in this box. I thought there would more. But you don't have to take my word for it. 4very creative and my child loves them! but 56pcs set is not much.My child has been playing with these very often since he got his first set with his "Benessse" Monthly Educational Package in Japan, it was when my child turned two. We wanted to add more pieces to the set, but we didn't know that they are commodity and we even didn't know the name. I found them on Amazon when I was looking for other toys, and got this set. 56 Pieces set is not much, but it is great for us since this is "add on" for us. If you are thinking to buy this set and try these for the first time, ordering 56 piece set is a great start, and you should buy one more box at least if your child likes them. These blocs goes both horizontal and vertical ways (unlike lego) ,and easier than regular blocs (like Mega blocs ,legos, etc) for young children. My child is going to be 4 soon, but still creating many different things with these!! 5They're fine if your kids like bristle blocksYes, the case is horrible. I wanted my kids to like these but they hate them. I think they are fun, but everytime I take them out my toddler throws them and runs away. He enjoys regular wooden blocks much more.If I bought them again I'd get a set with a smaller quantity but bigger pieces. The million pieces take for.e.v.er. to put back in the case. 5Good, BUT....Little guy loves bristle blocks. The issue with these are the wheel parts. They don't stick together! My little one gets super upset because the wheel parts don't fit together. The plastic portions don't snap together at all, so we don't have wheels! He loves vehicles, so it's sad we can't build something that rolls. Wish the wheel parts fit together because then these bristle blocks would be perfect for him. 2It is so fun to see what he will come up withI just bought these for my 2 year old son. He likes to create different things and put the mom/dad/brother/sister figures that come with it on top. It is so fun to see what he will come up with. I plan to bring these on an upcoming trip so he can play with these in the car. My only complaint is that the wheels that come with this set to attach to the blocks don't stay on that well when you build a car or want to make a child's creations mobile. There have been some complaints by other viewers that you have to line the pieces just so to close the container. I find that doesn't take very long to do. 4Creative play for kids, frustrating cleanup for mom.My kids have lots of fun playing with these toys, and have come up with some very cute creations. My only gripe is that when it's time to clean up, the toys have be as compact as possible to place them back into their adorable carry along container. I have to stack like with like, and place them in a certain order to close the latches. My kids cannot do that. The actual toys are great, I should just dump these into a bin or an extra large ziploc bag, and get over it, but it just seems like a waste of an (almost) perfectly good container. 4Lots of fun and easy to use!I wanted a block that would be safe for kids of all ages and one that most kids probably don't have at home so that when they are in my home they will not be bored. I had kids ages 9 months, 2 yrs, 4 yrs, and 5 yrs, here for several hours and they loved them. I bought 3 buckets because I know that from other blocks that we own 50 really doesn't stretch that far when imaginations get canoodling. The kids made buildings, vehicles, and even a rabbit mask. I will definitely be buying more buckets to add to our supply. 5Love Bristle BlocksI had previously purchased Bristle Blocks for my 5 year old grandchildren and they loved them but were frustrated when they needed more pieces. So I purchased the 85 piece set complete with people and parts to build vehicles. They absolutely love it. Having the people and even a little dog adds so much to the set. Their imaginations are running wild and they are coming up with all sorts of creations. The 85 piece set alone is a good bargain and combined with the original set gives plenty of pieces for two to play with and build some really neat stuff. 5
